Everyday life in the workshop

Everyone wants the laser cutter

The popular machines are contested. Whoever shows up first, cuts first.

The paper list on the machine

Reservations are handwritten, so whoever was not on site has no chance.

Tools disappear

The good tools wander through the workshop. Where they are right now, nobody knows.

The Solution

How workshops use Dispoly

One booking link for all members

Members book machines and workstations via a public link, without individual accounts.

Real-time availability

Every booking shows up immediately, so double bookings cannot happen.

QR code on every machine

A QR code on the laser cutter, mill, or workbench. Scan, see availability, book.

Machines and tools in categories

Organize wood, metal, textile, and electronics with categories, and every booking page shows exactly what fits.

Collect usage fees

Charge for machine and tool usage online or collect on site, and outstanding amounts stay traceable.

Machine hours and condition

Members enter the hour meter of the laser cutter or mill at pickup and return, plus anything they notice. The logbook shows how many hours ran each month, for example to plan the next service.
