Find double bookings and work out utilisation, straight from your Excel list.

Pool vehicles in Excel, rooms in an Outlook calendar, equipment in Google Sheets: paste the booking list or import the file. The check shows where bookings overlap, how busy each resource is and which rows are wrong. Everything runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

Check your booking list

Copy and paste rows from Excel or Google Sheets, or import an .xlsx or .csv file, including the calendar export from Outlook. The check detects the columns itself.

Paste your booking list

Select the rows in Excel, Google Sheets or the Outlook export, copy, paste them here. The check starts right away.

Excel (.xlsx), CSV or text, up to 5 MB, including the calendar export from Outlook. You can also drop the file onto the field.

Your data stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Which columns the check recognises

One row per booking is enough. Headers help but are not required: the check also looks at what is in the columns. Anything it gets wrong, you fix with one click.

ColumnWhat the check does with it
ResourceVehicle, license plate, room, device or object. In an Outlook export the name is in the subject. Bookings are compared per resource; without this column everything counts as one resource.
StartDate and time, such as "2026-08-03 08:00" or "03.08.2026 08:00". Also From, Pickup, Start date or "Start Date".
EndLike Start: End, To, Return, End date or "End Date". An end before the start is reported as an error and left out of the totals.
Date plus timesWhen date and time are separate: one Date column plus Start time and End time (or From and To holding times). Outlook exports exactly this: "Start Date", "Start Time", "End Date", "End Time". A date without a time counts as all day.
Booked byName, user, employee, driver, organizer or guest. Goes into the Excel file and becomes the guest in the Dispoly import.
Purpose or notePurpose, remark, note, category, description or location. Shown and exported; the check itself does not use it.

How to check your booking plan

Five steps, no sign-up.

  1. Copy or export the list

In Excel or Google Sheets, select the rows including the header and copy them. From Outlook, export the calendar as CSV: File, Open and Export, Import/Export, "Export to a file", then pick the calendar and the date range.

  2. Paste or import

Paste the text into the field or drop the .xlsx or .csv file onto it. The check starts right away, the data stays in your browser.

  3. Glance at the detected columns

The check shows which column it read as resource, start and end. If something is off, reassign the column. This is also where you choose whether utilisation is measured against 24 hours a day or only workdays from 7 am to 7 pm.

  4. Read overlaps and utilisation

The KPIs at the top, then the table per resource with a utilisation bar, the list of overlaps, hours per weekday and month, and every row with its note. The "Problems only" filter shows just what you need to sort out.

  5. Save as Excel or import into Dispoly

The Excel file contains all results and a "Dispoly import" sheet with the cleaned list in the reservation import layout. Moving from an Excel booking plan to a booking tool is an afternoon of work.

When a booking tool beats Excel

A booking plan in Excel or a shared Outlook calendar works while few people book. Once the check finds double bookings, the list no longer protects your colleagues. Four things a booking tool does differently.

A calendar that cannot double-book

In Dispoly a booked slot is blocked for everyone else. A double booking cannot happen, not even when two people book at the same moment.

Public booking links

Colleagues, members or guests book through a link, without an account and without access to your spreadsheet. They only see free slots.

Approvals where you need them

For certain vehicles or rooms, requests wait for confirmation. Whoever approves sees purpose and time and decides with one click.

Excel import for the move

Import the list exported from this check directly: resource, start, end, guest, note. Your existing bookings are in the calendar on day one.
