July was all about the public booking pages — the heart of Dispoly for everyone who requests resources without an account. And just before the month closed, four more features landed: calendar sync, reminder emails, data export, and the website embed.
New public booking page
The booking page has been rebuilt from the ground up: a two-step flow takes guests through resource and time selection first, then contact details. The new availability calendar shows free and busy times at a glance — including upcoming blocked periods, so requests never land in unavailable slots.
Resource cards now also display custom images and icons, so guests immediately see what they are booking.
Reliable guest requests
- Email verification: guests confirm their request via an email link. This prevents typos and spam requests without requiring an account.
- Optional PIN protection (Team plan): booking pages can be protected with a PIN — useful when only a known circle such as neighboring departments or club members should book.
Recurring blocked periods
Training nights, cleaning days, maintenance windows: blocked periods can now be created as daily or weekly recurring series, including all-day and timezone-safe. Each booking page can decide whether requests are still allowed during a block.
Calendar sync via iCal feeds
Every resource now has an optional calendar feed (iCal): enable it once, copy the link, and subscribe in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar — all confirmed and pending reservations appear automatically in your familiar calendar and stay up to date. The feed can be reset or disabled at any time, and it is included in all plans.
Reminder emails
Bookings no longer get forgotten: 24 hours before a confirmed reservation starts, Dispoly automatically sends a reminder to the person who booked — in German or English, with all the details and the responsible contact person as the reply-to address.
CSV & Excel export
Your data belongs to you: resources and reservations can now be exported as CSV or Excel — including status, period, custom booking fields, and more. The files are structured so they can be re-imported directly, and they open cleanly in German Excel.
Embed your booking page on your own website
The booking calendar no longer has to live on dispoly.net: with the new embed code, you can place any booking page as a widget directly on your club or company website. The frame sizes itself to the content automatically, and visitors book without ever leaving your site — available on all plans.
